What can I donate?

We collect all types of clothing, pairs of shoes, handbags, and accessories in a condition suitable for donation. A Donatable condition means that the clothes, shoes, bags, accessories and everything else you want to donate are in good condition and can be worn or used by someone else; for example, clean clothes and free of any strong odours, such as smoke or mildew, do not have any rips, tears, or stains that would make them unwearable. Small holes or stains may be acceptable. When you donate clean clothes, you show respect for the recipient, who may need clothing and lack the resources to wash them themselves. Remember that charities often have limited resources and volunteers, and donating clean clothes reduces the amount of time they need to spend sorting and processing donations.

Can I donate household items?

YES! We now accept household goods, also known as bric-a-brac, along with clothing donations. Please ensure all donated bric-a-brac is in boxes, as we collect only items in boxes. Please review the items we accept and those we do not.

Can I donate equally to all charities?

Accepted Answer

If you want to donate but are not sure which charity to choose, select “NO PREFERENCE” when filling out the online form. We will collect your donations, sort them, and resell or recycle them. We ensure that all charities we partner with receive an equal share of the proceeds from your donation.

How many bags of clothes can I donate?

There are no limits to the number of bags you can donate. However, if you plan to have more than 10 bags, please indicate this clearly on the booking form so we know which vehicle size to assign to the collection route. Many people lack access to clean, functional clothing, and your donations can help bridge this gap. Donating more bags ensures that more individuals have the clothing they need to stay warm, protected, and presentable. Charities that provide clothing assistance often rely on donations to support their operations. Donating more bags helps them meet the needs of those they support and continue providing essential services.
